Important Limitations
This tool is for PDFs you are allowed to access and already know the password for. It cannot recover forgotten passwords, bypass unknown passwords, brute-force encrypted files, or remove restrictions from documents you are not authorized to open.
Most common password-protected PDFs work, including many AES-256, AES-128, and RC4 files. If a document uses unusual encryption or is damaged, try opening it in a trusted PDF reader and exporting or printing it to a new PDF first.
